Lynzdel Bridal is located in the Blue Ball vicinity, seven miles outside Tullamore and fourteen miles from Birr, Co. Offaly. The stylish store opened its doors two years ago in September 2005 and stocks everything from bridal wear to First Holy Communion outfits.

Yvonne Delaney first heard about First Step when she was attending a Back to Work Enterprise course in Edenderry in 2004. Business has been booming for the last two years and due to the expanding customer base of Lynzdel Bridal, as well as the continuous addition of new lines of stock, an extension to the existing premises was required.

Finding the right bridal store with the right attitude goes a long way to calming the brides nerves and this is where Lynzdel Bridal is gathering momentum all the time. “The important thing is to relax and remember that there are as many different kinds of dresses as there are different kinds of brides,” said proprietor Yvonne. “We offer a complete one-stop shop – bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, flower girl dresses, veils, tiaras, jewellery and an exquisite selection of shoes.” Lynzdel Bridal also have a wide selection of First Holy Communion dresses – from plain to princess; all the styles a little girl might want.

In developing the business Yvonne realised that to grow the business an additional fitting room and larger studio was required. Approaching First Step again, she secured the required finance to grow the business “We badly needed an additional fitting room and a larger bridal studio if the business was to continue to grow and again First Step turned up trumps.”

The new extension, which houses numerous haute couture designs, has transformed Lynzdel Bridal into one of the highest caliber and most luxurious bridal studios in the midlands. Currently, Yvonne employs one person on a part-time basis but expects her staff levels to increase with the business.
